About Ada
"My life's work sits at the intersection of science, education, and compassion."
Ada Nwosa has spent over fifteen years at the bedside and in the classroom — first as a registered nurse navigating the complexities of clinical care, and later as a university lecturer shaping the minds of the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Her doctoral research sits at the intersection of nursing education and evidence-based practice, exploring how we close the gap between what is taught and what is lived in real clinical environments.
Rooted in her Christian faith, Ada believes that true healing is holistic — that compassion is not a soft skill but the very foundation of excellent care. She brings that conviction into every ward round, every lecture theatre, and every written word.

Her research on compassion fatigue filled a genuine gap in our field. Rigorous, thoughtful, and deeply human — exactly what nursing scholarship needs more of.

I left Ada's keynote rethinking what it means to care. She has a rare gift for making the academic feel personal — and the personal feel urgent.
